personal and intimate of his new material and several of his very first
songs.
Matt, who performed and produced all of the music, achieved a "full-production
acoustic" sound with the addition of hand -drums, latin percussion
and bass guitar, along with his usual enterage of violins, mandolins and
sliding strings...

"Matt Williams: Particles"
Matt Williams has recently released Volume I of his first full-production
conceptual album, a masterpiece project entitled, "Particles".
The project began in the Spring of 2005
at the Center for Applied Technology Recording Studio, the first student
project at the new facility. Volume I of the album was released on Halloween
2007 - Wed., October 31st at the CD Release Concert in the beautiful new
Fine & Performing Arts Center on the campus of Western Carolina University.
The album's intricasy has proved to be a challenge in the studio, but
is a great accomplishment and a milestone for the young and ambitious
artist... listen
